Established in 1995, the Penn State Washington Program was started to give students a complete Washington experience, including internship placement and credit, housing, and special events and programs. Students from all areas of the University have participated in the Washington Program. Over the years, they have worked for organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union, CNN, the Environmental Protection Agency, the office of Sen. Arlen Specter and the Organization of American States.
This blog features posts from program students and alumni about their experience in their internships, life in the city, and tips on networking and building professional relationships post-graduation.
