Using UCS for your email? Would you like to get the most out of the software? In this session we demonstrate the many features included with our University Collaboration Suite, including mobile access, file sharing, appointment creation and task organization.
Wednesday, May 22 – ANGEL How-To: Creating and Using Groups [Room: D117] @ Noon
Need space to store or share files, host discussions and communicate with colleagues? Set upan ANGEL group! An ANGEL group can be created for study, research, committee, club, or
department. Instructors developing content for a future course may do so in a group and later
export the content to the course when added to ANGEL. Anyone with a PSU Access Account may set up a group, so come out and learn how!
Tuesday, May 28 – Turnitin @ Penn State: Teaching Students Quoting Skills [Room: D117] @ Noon
Teaching this summer? Try Turnitin with your student papers! The University provides a
subscription to Turnitin, a Web-based plagiarism detection and prevention system. Use Turnitin as a means to teach students how to work with sources and to raise awareness of paraphrasing and quoting skills in order to avoid plagiarism.
