The Canvas Learning Path is organized into six learning modules, each with a specific goal related to enhancing teaching and learning. Each module contains a selection of the best pedagogical and technical (how-to) resources to help you achieve the objectives of that module. Workshops from the Canvas Learning Path are offered each week by the Center for Instructional Design, covering the following topics:
1. Get Started with Canvas
2. Transition to Canvas from ANGEL
3. Create and Organize Your Course
4. Communicate and Discuss
5. Assess, Grade and Monitor Student Work
6. Facilitate Collaborative Learning with Groups
Faculty who complete the first five of the six Canvas Learning Path modules are recognized with a certificate and digital badge, and are trained in the use of Canvas for face-to-face and hybrid courses. Faculty who complete part six receive more training on interacting with student groups, especially in hybrid and online courses.
