Information Technology Support and the Center for Instructional Design have a new pilot program for faculty, lecture capture with the Swivl video recording system. Swivl is an automatic camera operator, allowing hands free recording of your lectures and presentations for later review by your students.
Video is recognized as a highly effective tool for improving student comprehension and retention. The Swivl video system makes it easy to capture video and share from your Canvas courses.
Please submit your proposals before the start of the Fall semester. Two projects will be selected for design, development, and implementation of Swivl into course learning activities.
For more information, please contact the Worthington Scranton Center for Instructional Design (grl13@psu.edu) in Dawson 117.
