The TED talk experience was very scary, new, and wonderful as well. I thought it went pretty well for the first time that I had ever talked in front of a camera AND an audience, but I feel like if I had maybe practiced a little bit more I could have done a little bit better, but isn’t that always how it is? I enjoyed watching all of the Sacrificial Lambs, and also watching the people who went on the second day, if was a lot of fun to see how all of the different people approached this talk. In some cases, it was clear who had practiced a lot, and who had pulled it together the night before. Some talks were very, very good, and some weren’t as good as they could have been with some more practice, or even just some practice time in front of the camera. It is very rough going on the first couple of days though, because you have no idea what to expect, but I thought everyone did a great job, and if I was given the choice, I would definitely do it again.
