REDI Program Overview

REDI takes the balanced approach of an equal emphasis on both social emotional skills and academic skills. This approach is based on developmental research that shows that both social emotional and academic skills are important for school readiness. Both skill sets help children adjust to the social, behavioral, and academic demands of kindergarten and support learning as children move through elementary school.

REDI integrates programming to support social-emotional skill development with programming that supports language and pre-literacy skill development.
