1st impressions are that I like the interface and the concept seems doable.
The videos are talking head to start the course. I need more evaluation to make sure I’m getting it. Addendum – There are some quizzes, but they didn’t pop up while I was in FireFox. They work in Chrome, so I plan to do the rest of the course in Chrome.
Took the homework quiz after doing half of the course to see what I learned since I already had complete some of the course. 3.75/5.00, but I’m taking the course to learn, not the grade. Addendum – Over night, the score changed b/c of difference in grading algorithm to 4.25. We have 100 attempts possible, but you receive an effective grade which is the average of your scores.
Discussion forums are so large and unmanageable. It’s important to have a cohort of people to make the process of learning more within a reasonable scope. Here is a screen shot of what Kent and I saw in the forums:
