Welcome to the e-Portfolio of Ryan Fisher, Accreditation and Assessment Administrator within the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at NYU, in Higher Education (M. Ed. HIED) program.

My goal as a higher education administrator is to bolster the liberal arts foundations of post-secondary education and assist faculty with designing, delivering, and documenting optimized, cohesive, and effective academic programs.

This portfolio is intended to serve as living documentation of my experiences in higher education administration. It features the following sections:

Higher Ed Philosophy — This page explains my understanding of the purposes of post-secondary education and the function that academic plans have in shaping and understanding student learning.

Career Objectives — This page details my vision for program management and the role that staff can play in the stewardship of academic plans. It also demonstrates how I have been putting this vision into practice to serve the faculty and students at the Pennsylvania State University.

Formal Education — This page contains an overview of my experiences in graduate education, and how those experiences have shaped me as a professional.

Digital Artifacts — A collection of the papers, proposals, and other artifacts intertwined in this portfolio.

Contact Me — This page includes an updated copy of my résumé, as well as ways to contact me if you have any questions about the contents of this portfolio or my experiences in higher education administration.
