UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Tickets to the 2015 Collegiate Rugby Championship Sevens tournament are now available through Penn State Rugby. Two-day passes are available for $38 and will count towards the program’s required ticket sales.

Penn State is required to sell 400 two-day passes for the year’s event at PPL Park in Philadelphia.

Tickets can be purchased through Penn State Rugby.

All collegiate matches for the 2015 CRC 7s will take place on the grounds of PPL Park, May 29-31. Newly developed Academy fields outside of PPL Park will host games for the women’s, small college, and high school tournaments.

Some women’s matches will be played inside PPL Park on Saturday, in addition to the final on Sunday.

The women’s collegiate division is set for matches on May 29, while the men’s tournament will begin on Saturday, May 30.

Penn State is looking to capture its third consecutive title on the women’s side, while the men aim to build off of last year’s quarterfinal run.

For the women, Penn State has reached the final in every CRC competition – defeating James Madison, 29-12, during the 2014 tournament to win back-to-back titles.

On the men’s side, the Lions will try to replicate the pool play performance from last year, which saw the defense hold opponents to 12 points through three matches. Prior to bowing out against the Cal in the quarterfinals, Penn State hadn’t allowed more than a try in each of its games.

Pools and match times have yet to be announced.

Tickets purchased through the CRC website will not count towards Penn State’s totals.

Only tickets through psurugby.2stayconnected.com will count towards Penn State’s ticket allotment.
