Abstract submission is CLOSED.

You do not need to register to attend ECMSS.  Only presenters must register.  This is accomplished by filling out the abstract submission form.

Oral Presentations

Each presenter is provided a 15 minute time slot, with 12 minutes for their presentation and 3 minutes for audience questions. Session chairs will notify each speaker when they have reached the 10 minute mark, and will cut off all presentations after 12 minutes to maintain the event schedule. Presenters should practice and time their talk carefully before the event.

Presenters should be prepared to reach an interdisciplinary academic audience with basic scientific knowledge. Do not assume that the audience is intimately familiar with your specific field or its terminology; it is, therefore, recommended that such concepts and terminology are explicitly defined and/or explained during the presentations.

Poster Presentations

Size should be no greater than 48″ x 48″. Easels and poster board will be provided.  You must print and bring your own poster.

Poster set-up will occur prior to the opening keynote address on Friday, April 8, 2016.  Preferably, posters will remain on display throughout the day on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

Poster removal will occur after the awards ceremony on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

Abstract Submission

Once you have decided whether you will present an oral or poster presentation, please prepare a 250 word abstract according to the required format, as indicated in the abstract template.
