I’m Sage M. Wright, a recently graduated Master’s student in the Bioinformatics and Genomics program. For my Master’s thesis, I worked with Dr. Sinisa Dovat on determining the effect of CK2 inhibition on heterochromatin in AML by examining the changes in ChIP-Seq signal for several histone modifications and transcription factors.

Previously, I worked with Dr. Feng Yue and Dr. James Broach on developing novel methods to identify cancer-specific structural variations and gene fusions in alternative sequencing technology output.
