I am a graduate student pursuing a doctorate in Statistics and Social Data Analytics (minor) at the Pennsylvania State University. I am working with Dr. Kari Lock Morgan and Dr. Matthew Beckman towards a dissertation in Statistics Education centered around the idea of statistical literacy. I believe that every individual encounters situations in their day-to-day lives which can be better understood through a statistical lens. With this guiding principle, I hope to contribute to statistics education through teaching, conducting research, as well as engaging with other educators.

In addition to statistics education, I engage extensively with traditional Indian performing arts in my capacity as an educator, a performer, the treasurer, as well as an advisor of the Society for Indian Music and Arts.
