Northwest Reading
The Neighborhood of Possibilities!
The newly forming planning group, “Friends of the Schuylkill River Trail Community Park in Northwest Reading,” welcomes neighborhood residents to share their ideas, develop visions for, design, and partner with this group to develop and help maintain a community park for children and adults along the half mile section of the Schuylkill River Trail closest to Baer Park. This special natural resource is currently underutilized. The City of Reading has begun clearing parts of the trail so Northwest Reading can have a beautiful park along the river for children and adults to explore, fish, walk, bike, play and enjoy the outdoors. Come share your thoughts on how to make this the best park for your community.

Thurs, June 29 Meeting POSTPONED:
Community Meeting at Baer Park Field house near 506 W. Douglass St., Reading PA 19601
Please join us and brainstorm the next direction for this special neighborhood project!
