Outgoing donations are for nonprofit organizations that need technology to request these materials from SCROUNGE. The redistributed materials must be open for public access to the members of the nonprofit organization, and should only be used for educational purposes.
To receive a donation from SCROUNGE, the nonprofit organization must send SCROUNGE the following paperwork from the nonprofit organization:
- The proper tax form: 501C3
- A written request for the materials needed for the organization, in addition to their intent for the materials received.
Since materials are only supplied to SCROUNGE through the Donate tab, SCROUNGE’s materials are limited. This is why SCROUNGE may not have the most up to date technology, or a large amount of technology necessary for the function of larger organizations. However, SCROUNGE will do its best to provide all nonprofits with the technology they need to function and maintain their organization with the allotted materials it receives.
