Don Cella graduated from Penn State Altoona in the spring of 2013 with a dual major in marketing/management and entrepreneurship. While there he was a Sheetz Fellow and President of the Enactus team. During the fall semester of his senior year he unexpectedly learned about an auction for used equipment that ended up changing all of his plans. He is now the owner of Limelight Tile & Ceramics; a custom ceramic tile manufacturing business in the Strip District of Pittsburgh. Custom crafted tiles being a niche of the market, Limelight focuses it’s marketing on architects and designers of higher-end projects. All of the tiles are made specifically for the client, being incredibly customizable; each order is one of its own.
Outside of the improvements in the production process over the past few years, two notable achievements are teaming up with Homer Laughlin to create FIESTA tiles, and being named Small Manufacture of the year (25 or less employees) by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Amongst the craziness of running a family business, Don lives north of Pittsburgh with his wife Morgan, baby Clay, and their boxer, Bruno (who goes to work almost every day).
