Anywhere Sikochi (Siko) is a new Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business. Siko entered the program in 2011 and successfully defended his dissertation on May 12, 2016. He has accepted a tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Accounting and Management unit at Harvard Business School, Harvard University. His appointment is effective July 1, 2016.
Siko is a recipient of the KPMG Doctoral Scholarship, the W. Edward and Kay M. Hastings Graduate Scholarship, the Frank P. and Mary Jean Smeal Endowment Fund scholarship, the J. Kenneth and Nancy N. Jones Graduate Scholarship, the Peter E. Liberti and Judy D. Olian Scholarship, and the William A. and Joan L. Schreyer Graduate Scholarship. Siko has served as teaching assistant for Financial and Managerial Accounting for Decision Making. He has taught managerial accounting at the undergraduate level and pre-term Introduction to Financial Accounting in the Executive MBA program.
Siko holds an MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia (2011). He received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College (2005). Siko worked in the Financial Markets and Life Sciences Practices at Charles River Associates (2007 – 2009), and with FTI Consulting (2005 – 2006). He is a member of the United States Student Achievers Program (USAP), the PhD Project Accounting Doctoral Student Association (President, KPMG Liaison 2014-2015), and the American Accounting Association.
Siko is married and has two children. The whole family enjoys running, and loves attending the many music and arts festivals that take place during the Summer in Boalsburg and State College areas.
