About the PSU Spanish Club

We are a club dedicated to promoting language skills and cultural awareness, as well as socialization amongst our members, with other Latino organizations, and the community. Open to all levels of Spanish, the club welcomes new members at any point in the semester.

General Meetings
Every other Monday at 7pm, we meet in 222 Thomas for a fun night based on learning about the cultures of Spanish countries, enjoying great food, meeting members of Penn State’s international community, learning how to get involved with the Hispanic community at Penn State and in State College, and more!

Conversation Hours
On the opposite weeks from the general meetings, we meet Mondays from 6 to 8pm in the downstairs space of Irving’s Café on E College Ave. We spend the time practicing Spanish in a conversational setting with a very relaxed atmosphere. Open to all levels of speakers – you can even just come to listen! The convo hours are split into blocks from 6 to 7 and from 7 to 8. Feel free to come to one or both hours, or show up whenever you like and stay for as long as you like!

Please check our Spanish Club Facebook page for updates about locations and times for meetings and events.
