Ideas

The bicycle rack (a sustainable parking lot) is a place to collect ideas, both large and small, for improving sustainability efforts on campus.  Post your ideas to the blog and they will be moved to this page, or you can email Dylan Humenik with your ideas.
Possible future priorities and projects

Education

  • Sustainability films on the film channel
  • Fun messaging (ex: flashmob) to promote sustainability
  • Build an outdoor performance space (off the grid)
  • Build a sustainable art/sculpture garden (create wilderness experience opportunities and tree planting)
  • Visual art display to depict waste
  • Campus Gardens
  • Promote outdoor education–Penn State Adventure Recreation (http://www.athletics.psu.edu/advrec/index.html)
  • Create peer norms, utilize social network ranking
  • Energy/water use dashboard with graphic (click here for an example)
