To end this year’s spring break with a “bang”, my family decided to go to the Thai Thai II restaurant located in Bethlehem, PA (my hometown!). It’s located where the famous Musikfest, a 13-day long music festival featuring various artists who perform there, takes place. The minute my family and I walked in, we were immediately attended by the waiter and seated to our booth with the menus placed accordingly on the table. The menu featured various options including the famous, Satay, which is basically marinated chicken breast on a stick, and served with a sweet, refreshing sauce that contrasts the warm, spiced chicken. Also featured were the famous Pad Thai Drunken Noodles dishes, varieties of curry, which were accompanied with jasmine rice, and chef specials.

After ordering Satay and Fried Calamari as appetizers, within 5 minutes, our dinners arrived. I was really surprised at the fast service and the constant refills of water, the minute they hit a “halfway” point.

Here are pictures of our complete meal:

From the reactions I saw from my family, they seemed to have really liked the quality of their dishes, especially because the spices were not too over bearing, but they offered enough kick to enhance the sweet and nutty flavors in each dish. This type of quality makes me see why it was been rated 4/5 stars on Yelp.com and how it kept withholding that high of a rating throughout these years. As one who sees that a successful restaurant is based on service and food quality, this restaurant has successfully achieved those components. The interior designs of the restaurant makes one feel peaceful, with the accompaniment of the soothing Thai music that plays while one is eating. It’s an excellent way to remedy those of us with stressful lives, and with Asian appetite. If anyone is in the area, and has Thai cravings please stop by! You wont regret it. Happy Eating !
