- This talk focuses on a corpus of digital storytelling across a spectrum of virtual learning settings, including QR-code countermaps of a middle school, Minecraft narratives, augmented reality tours of the Music City, and virtual reality approaches to issues of sustainability. In the end, this talk aims to offer a breadth of forms of digital storytelling across immersive learning settings to inspire and stretch narrative potential.

- This session will focus on the experience of two faculty members from the College of Agricultural Sciences as they began to explore 360 video as an educational tool. The faculty will share a few of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the technology, as well as thoughts on the future of this technology in facilitating learning.

- VR/AR Training Apps with Interactive Real- Time Character Animation
- This presentation and hands-on workshop will introduce VR/AR Training Apps for actresses and actors for optical see-through smart glasses like the EPSON Moverio BT200. Usually, actors learn their lines alone at home or rehearse them with another actor. They do not always have the opportunity to rehearse with another actor. In suck cases, VR/AR training could help actors improve their specifc acting skills and learn new lines for the play. Thierno Kastel explains the usage of interative real- time character animations for learning applciations. If time allows some training or demonstrations with the EPSON smart glasses. Unity3D and the AR Plugin will be conducted.

- Digital Storytelling in 360° Video workshop
- This presentation and hands-on workshop will introduce the challenges and considerations when crafting a narrative with 360° video. Participants will compare some of the differences between traditional video and 360° video and storyboard an experience. If time allows some training or demonstrations with 360° video equipment will be conducted.
