Research description:
The goal of Dr. Yuka Imamura’s research is to commit herself to support “start-to-finish” genomics project. Dr. Imamura joined Penn State Hershey in August of 2013 following postdoctoral research training at the University of Texas Southwestern, The Rothberg Institute for Childhood Diseases, and Yale University. Her qualifications stems from her own research in neurogenomics and providing next-gen sequencing support in the form of sample preparation, sequencing, and data analysis.

Technical expertise: Genomics, Next-Generation Sequencing, Bioinformatics, Neurogenomics, Biomarker finding, Transccriptome, Exome, DNA methylation, Metagenome, Microbiome, Exosome purification, Omics, Liquid Biopsy, Single cell genomics, Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer biology, Metabolic disease.
