What should you expect from this blog? You should not expect anything. If you expect something, you will most likely be disappointed, and I will never be able to live up to your expectations. This is a blog about history, and obviously I cannot cover all parts of history. This then begs the question, what is this blog about? Well, did you read the description? You did? Ok, then I guess I can give you a better idea of what I’m talking about. Essentially this blog is historical analyses. When someone fails, they don’t succeed at what they intended to do, but does this mean they did not change the world? In some circumstances, failure is much more important to the world than success. As Thomas Edison said, and you have probably at some point heard, “I have not failed, I just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” WRONG. Thomas Edison failed, but through his failures, he changed. He developed new theories, and these new theories are what brought about his creation of the modern incandescent light bulb. This being said, I hate American history, so if you really wanted to learn more about that, go read a textbook. This blog will be focused on purely interesting, lesser known topics. Keep in mind, I can’t talk without some humor and/or sarcasm, so I do hope you will not take offense at what I say.
