About The Codes

Using the Entity Codes

The Unicode numeric entity codes can be expressed as either decimal numbers or hexadecimal numbers. To input right-to-left text in Unicode, type the entity codes in "normal" sequential order and the browser will automatically display characters in right to left order.

For instance, the decimal version of the Hebrew [ʕBRYT] עברית would be:
&‌#1506;&‌#1489;&‌#1512;&‌#1497;&‌#05EA;

The hexadecimal of Hebrew version of the Hebrew [ʕBRYT] עברית would be:
&‌#x05E1;&‌#x05D1;&‌#x1512;&‌#1497;&‌#1514;
Note that the hexadecimal numbers include x as part of the code.

Combining Characters

When codes for combining characters are inputted, they are placed on the adjacent letter.
