General Body Meeting on October 5th

Hello TBTTers! We’ve entered October, and whether that means you’ve already had a few midterms or are about to have a few, we wish you the best of luck!

The next general body meeting will be tomorrow, Monday, October 5th, at 8:30 pm in 105 Willard. We’re super excited to see you again, and hey, bring a friend along too! We’ll be talking about HUB-Tabling, the Council of Sustainable Leaders, some great collab ideas with other groups, and more.

In the meantime, did you know that there are giant floating garbage patches in our oceans? Seriously, check this out. The currents of the ocean carry floating trash like water bottles and styrofoam out into the middle of the ocean, and they don’t get washed back to shore. NASA created a short video showing a computer animation of how and where the trash accumulates.
