Hi all – we can’t believe it is the end of May already!
May is a busy month in admissions, with first-year students finalizing their college decisions and starting orientation, transfer students applying and starting to work on their fall plans, and distance learners applying to World Campus to begin in the fall semester. Wherever you are in the process of becoming a Penn Stater, we know you may have a lot of questions. We will do what we can to help you, but we want to let you know that we will have limited counseling staff in the office this week.
Beginning Wednesday, May 22, many of our admissions counselors will be attending a conference for the rest of the week. As a result, we will not have our traditional on-call counseling staff for phone inquiries that come into the Undergraduate Admissions Office after today. Additionally, while we have counselors at the University Park campus to take appointments on Wednesday, May 22, you cannot schedule an appointment to meet with a counselor on Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24. (This limited staffing situation may also be true for many of our campuses).
We will be fully staffed again on Tuesday, May 28 to help with any of your needs, as the University is closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. We hope you enjoy the holiday weekend!
