LibInsights implementation to capture public services statistics

Lindsey Loeper

Lindsey Loeper is the Archivist and Acting Head of the Special Collections & Library Gallery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She manages the University Archives, the Center for Biological Sciences Archives, and manuscript collections relating to the history of photography, science fiction, and Marylandia. Lindsey received a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from UMBC, a Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a Certified Archivist. An active member of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, she recently served as a Member-At-Large and chaired the Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion. In 2016, Lindsey completed work on an Access to Historical Records grant awarded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) for the project, “Implementing an EAD compliant workflow at UMBC.”

This collaborative work session will bring together users of LibInsights to develop a template for capturing the statistical measures recommended by the SAA-ACRL/RBMS Joint Task Force on the Development of Standardized Statistical Measures for Public Services in Archival Repositories and Special Collections Libraries.
