[Zhen’s CV]

Zhen Lei is currently an Assistant Professor of Energy and Environmental Economics in the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering at Penn State University.

He has background in both economics and science, holding a Ph.D. degree in Economics from University of California at Berkeley and a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Peking University Health Sciences Center (China).

His research interests include economics of innovation and intellectual property, science and technology policy, energy and environmental economics, and applied econometrics.
