We have another great group of students joining us on the 2016 Culture and Disability study abroad program in Ireland. Day #1 we visited Fighting Blindness where we heard from Laura Brady and John Delany. Laura spoke with us about the current research projects, new initiatives and the work Fighting Blindness is doing. John talked about his work as a counselor at Fighting Blindness and how being blind has impacted his life. We are very fortunate to have such great people and organizations volunteer their time to speak with our Penn State students! We are off to a great start and are enjoying the days (yes…days) of sunshine and so far no rain!
