The following is a list of events sponsored by various departments and organizations on campus that relate to our course. This list will be updated as other events are advertised.
To receive extra credit, you must attend an event and then write a 250-300 word response that, first, summarizes the event and, second, offers an analysis that links the event to a reading or discussion from class. You can email this response to Mr. Hogan.
Please note that extra credit will not drastically raise your final grade, but it will significantly help you if your final grade is between two grades (for example, an A- and a B+). Also, although I encourage you to attend as many events as possible, you will receive extra credit for only one.
