In China, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Chinese New Year, the Tomb Sweeping Day, and the Mid-Autumn Festival are known as the four biggest traditional Chinese cultural festivals. Personally, I think the Mid-Autumn Festival is the most special one. Oct 4th is the Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15th of Chinese lunar calendar); the moon’s circle is a metaphor of people’s reunion. On that day, the family will try their best to go home to have a family reunion dinner with their parents and children.
