1990: Center for Pennsylvania Culture Studies

 

IJohn Yettern 1990, the School of Humanities and the American Studies program at Penn State Harrisburg established the Center for Pennsylvania Culture Studies.  The Center was created to facilitate the study of Pennsylvania’s cultural heritage.  One of the center’s resources is the John Yetter Collection of Steelton Historical Materials, which contains over 2,000 photographs and publications compiled by John Yetter, shown here with his book, Steelton, Pennsylvania: Stop, Look, Listen.
