1994: Sculpture Garden Formally Named

During an annual picnic on September 13, 1994, the College formally named the sculpture garden the Boris and Bertha Blai Sculpture Garden, after three of Boris Blai’s sculptures (Seal Girl, The Evening Garment, and In Green Pastures) were donated to the campus by provost and dean Ruth Leventhal and her sister.  Dr. Leventhal was Boris Blai’s stepdaughter.
