The dedication of a new baseball field in August 2007 further expanded the athletic facilities on campus. Located next to the CUB and built with the generosity of James C. Byerly and John W. Gleim, Jr., the field’s dedication ceremonies featured comments from Chancellor Hanes and Bob Maschmeyer, Penn State Harrisburg’s head baseball coach. United Concordia also funded construction of the home team dugout.
