In 1982, Theresa Guerrisi received her Master of Arts in the Humanities at the Capitol Campus. The culminating project of Guerrisi was a performance of The Belle of Amherst, a play based on the life of Emily Dickinson, which she performed on her own. The performance reached more than 100 people over two nights.
Flash forward 35 years, and Guerrisi has returned to Penn State Harrisburg as the Arts Administrator, coordinating arts programs in the new Student
Enrichment Center Theater and the Blackbox Theater in the Educational Activities Building. Guerrisi returns to Penn State Harrisburg after a successful career at the Rose Lehman Arts Center as the Director of the Performing Artist Series at the Harrisburg Area Community College.
