In 1984, Provost Theodore Gross proposed the idea that a new bookstore with larger capacity be constructed at the Capital Campus.   The bookstore was built next to the SET Building, and was completed in March of 1985.  The new building allowed more space for textbooks, clothing, and supplies.   Today, the campus bookstore is located in the new Student Enrichment Center, which was completed in the Fall of 2016.
