Ann Clements
Ann Clements, professor of music education, began her career at Penn State in 2002. She has given more than 150 presentations and has published two books and dozens of book chapters and articles on music teaching, popular music education, and music and technology. In 2015, she won the Penn State Open Innovation Challenge for her work in artificial intelligence and virtual reality. In 2018, she was awarded the Penn State University Impact Award for innovative teaching with technology. Her favorite memories of working in the college include creating and directing the Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design (CPAD). She currently serves as the vice provost for faculty affairs – faculty development, where she puts the skills learned as a music educator to work across the University.
