Anthony J. Costa
Anthony J. Costa is associate professor of clarinet and clarinetist with the Pennsylvania Quintet and Prestige Clarinet Quartet. He serves as principal clarinetist of the Penn’s Woods Music Festival Orchestra and Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra. Tony began his Penn State career in 2008 and received the 2016 College of Arts and Architecture Faculty Award for Outstanding Teaching. His favorite Penn State memories include the opening of the new Recital Hall, listening to his numerous clarinet students perform solo recitals, and performing chamber music with his School of Music colleagues.
