Lisa D. Iulo

Lisa D. Iulo is an associate professor of architecture and director of the Hamer Center for Community Design in the Stuckeman School. Her research and creative accomplishments focus on building and planning for a more sustainable and resilient built environment. With support from Penn State, NSF, and DOE, she has been working with colleagues to better understand the building/community relationships and opportunities where research, data, and improved decision-making can inform the design of resilient sustainable homes, buildings, and communities. Lisa has been a member of the architecture faculty at Penn State since 2003. Her teaching and research are closely linked with outreach and community engagement in the interest of facilitating collaboration across disciplines.
