We are pleased to announce that the costs for the following meals will be covered by funding support from the Hintz Family Endowed Chair in Communicative Competence.

Coffee and Bagels
• we will serve coffee and bagels on the 3rd floor of Ford each morning at 8 am
• there will also be bottled water available throughout the day

Lunch – Au Bon Pain
• We will walk from Ford Building to the Au Bon Pain in Kern Building for lunch each day. You are welcome to select your lunch items ( and afternoon drinks) at Au Bon Pain, and then we will have a special cash register line for ThinkTank attendees. Please be sure to “check out” in the appropriate line (i.e., with David McNaughton)

Au Bon Pain

 Dinner – Nittany Lion Inn
• We will meet each night for dinner at the Nittany Lion Inn. If the weather allows, we will eat on the outside patio. Please come to the reception desk for the Nittany Lion Inn Dining Room at 5:30 each night, and you will be directed to the patio. We will be asking you to pre-order your dinner each day ( so we do not overwhelm the kitchen), and we will also ask you to sit at an assigned place ( again, to assist in a timely food service). More details will be provided during the Introduction presentation on May 16 at 2;30.

  1. Chickpea and Kale Stew: This hearty dish is thickened with cashews and filled with fresh vegetables and chickpeas. Contains cashews. DF, NF
  2. Roasted Beet Pasta: Roasted winter beets, Fasta Ravioli Co. fresh pasta, crumbled feta, red onion, toasted almonds, and a balsamic reduction. Contains dairy, gluten, and nuts.
  3. Traditional Caesar: Wood bowl tossed, prepared to order with local organic eggs, anchovies, & fresh cracked black pepper, with house-made croutons. Can be served GF without croutons. Contains dairy, eggs, and fish. NF (please note if you would like to add chicken, or steak )
  4.  Fajita Steak Salad: Crispy flour tortilla bowl, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickled chilies, shredded smoked cheddar, sour cream, and marinated steak. Served with chipotle ranch. Contains dairy and gluten. NF
  5. Grilled Free-Range BBQ Chicken: Grilled ½ chicken served with green apple BBQ sauce. DF, GF, NF
  6. Pulled Pork (w fries): Slow roasted pulled pork, green apple BBQ and smoked cheddar. Contains dairy. GF, NF
  7. Cheese Steak (w fries): Shaved local beef, sautéed onions, Kennett Square mushrooms, and Goot Essa Weissa Kase cheese on a Gemelli torpedo roll. Contains dairy; GF, NF
  8. Crab Cake Sandwich (w fries): A hearty crab cake served with lettuce, tomato, onion and Cajun Rémoulade. Contains dairy, eggs, gluten, shellfish. NF
  9. NLI Burger (w fries): Cheddar and sautéed Kennett Square mushrooms. Contains dairy. GF, NF
