As there is currently no mandate by the University to be vaccinated for COVID-19, there is no need to request religious accommodations to be exempt from being vaccinated.

Religious Accommodation instructions for Nursing Students in an assigned Practicum/Clinical/Internship Site

As of August 4, 2023, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Offices (CMS) has withdrawn its requirement for health care workers to get the COVID-19 vaccine.  If you are seeking a religious accommodation to the COVID-19 vaccination, you will need to make this request for a religious accommodation directly with your practicum/clinical/internship site and in accordance with the policy and procedures established at that respective site.  If you have any questions, please contact Lonnie Allbaugh at lja5276@psu.edu or the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at oeoa@psu.edu.
