Since 2004, the Penn State Altoona African American Read-In has been honored to feature artwork by a campus student artist who creates a logo reflecting the theme of the Read-In. This artwork is displayed on a t-shirt worn by participants and used in print and digital publicity materials for the event. The artist is also recognized at the Sunday community kick-off program. If a student is interested is in helping with the creation of a logo for next year’s Read-In, please contact Dr. Carrie Freie (cdf14@psu.edu) or Harriett Gaston (hlg5@psu.edu, 814-949-5281) for more information.
