Summer Treatment Program

The Summer Treatment Program (STP) is designed to help children ages 7 to 11 years with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder (CD), and/or any other behavioral problems. We help children struggling with academic performance and relationship development with peers and adults by utilizing behavior therapy through a point system and social-emotional skills training. The treatment is delivered through a summer camp setting so children can be treated while also doing activities like playing soccer, softball, and kickball. Research shows that the STP effectively targets attention and behavior problems. The STP is provided free of charge to families thanks to generous support from the Penn State Children’s Miracle Network.
