On November 3rd, our lab manager Zaine presented his independent research project at USPATH’s 2023 Scientific Symposium in Denver Colorado. Zaine presented an updated version of his previous research analyzing access to gender-affirming breast or chest surgery for adolescent patients in our gender health clinic. His findings showcase that adolescents experience barriers such as long wait times and travel significant distances to obtain surgical intervention. He has submitted his findings for publication.
