Abu by Miguel Antonio Horn will be on loan by the artist through 2024 and early 2025.

Located in the outdoor amphitheater on Penn State Abington’s campus, this sculpture has been reconstructed following it’s original installation in the Delaware River.

Abu was created during the pandemic at which time Miguel Horn’s father had been diagnosed with with a condition that placed him in danger should he contract the virus. This work is a meditation on illness and potential loss of a loved one.
