“Love Is In The Air” featuring the Tony Miceli Quintet
It’s not everyday that a world class vibraphone player comes to campus with a cast of equally outstanding musicians, but that is exactly how we celebrated Valentine’s Day this year. The concert featured a program of great love songs from the American songbook. Featuring Tony Miceli on jazz vibraphone, renowned vocalist Joanna Pascale, drummer Dan Monaghan, bassist, Lee Smith, and sax player Victor North.
This special concert served as a tribute to the memory of our friend, colleague, and professor, Dr. Roy Robson. A beloved teacher on campus, Dr. Robson was also a champion of music at Abington and actively supported this concert series. He is deeply missed.
