As we return to classes from Thanksgiving Break, we must remember that final exams are on the horizon. With one week of classes left, there is little time to prep for exams. But things are different this semester.

For one, all classes moved to a remote-learning environment after November 21st. At Penn State, classes could be held in a variety of options before the Thanksgiving break. You may recall, this was how classes were held following Spring Break during the Spring 2020 Semester. Originally planned for a two-week shift, health concerns made this shift permanent for the Spring semester.

But as we approach the end of the semester, now is the time to prepare for final exams. These exams are not held at the same time as your class normally would meet, but LionPath has you covered. Around the fifth week of the semester, a final exam schedule was administered. Alternatively, Penn State Abington’s website has a comprehensive schedule of all the exams for each day.

For now, consult the assignments you need to do on Canvas and make sure they are all submitted on time. Various resources such as CAPS are still available via Zoom, so feel free to schedule an appointment if you need help.

If you have scheduling conflicts, consult the registrar. You can request for exams to be rescheduled.

You all worked hard these past few months despite the irregular conditions. But you cannot let your work go to waste with poor final exam grades. Just relax, review your work, and do your best over finals week.
