Beloved professor of Corporate Communication, Dr. Ross Brinkert passed away a few months ago. Dr. Brinkert had been with Penn State Abington since 2006, and played a major part in the Corporate Communication major. He will continue to be missed.

As well as being a part of the creation of the Corporate Communication major, he had part in the creation of the travel program at Penn State Abington. He believed the opportunity to travel gives students more confidence to succeed, especially that travel should be more affordable.

In remembrance of Dr. Ross Brinkert and supporting his vision for students at Penn State Abington interested in travel, an award has been created in his name. The Ross Brinkert International Travel Award will go toward his vision for students. Gifts will support students to be able to find their place in the global society.

Donations and gifts toward the Ross Brinkert International Travel Award will be taken from now until April 30th here with more information about the program and Dr. Brinkert passions towards his vision of seeing students succeed and travel opportunities.

Dr. Brinkert was and still is loved by many and this travel award in honor of his visions was a wonderful idea.  Donations to this travel award will help give students more opportunities to succeed and continue the legacy of Dr. Brinkert.
