Every year in April, people around the world celebrate Earth Day, a day designated to raise environmental awareness. Whether your focus is on air pollution or ocean dumping, by taking one day a year, at the bare minimum, it makes more of a difference than it seems.
Though the world appears small while looking at the solar system as a whole, by doing things such as recycling, being more conscious of water use, and putting waste in designated areas, the little things prove to add up to the bigger picture of trying to bandage together a world we can’t help but hurt in the way of living our daily lives. With these small acts of kindness towards the Earth in mind, if you prefer working with others, there are a number of activities in the surrounding regions of southeastern Pennsylvania that you can help do your part.
