This year’s ACURA fair will take place on Wednesday, April 12th in Athletic Building.

Dr. Ann Schmiedekamp, Coordinator of the Abington Undergraduate Research Program (ACURA), has lead efforts to create an event to display the work of students who are participating in research projects across campus.

In an ACURA project, students work with faculty hands-on in a research or creative endeavor for two to three semesters. Students gain research experience and academic credit for their projects while working with faculty. They help to further beneficial experiments, and can strengthen their resume with scholarly research. To learn more about ACURA projects, visit the website.
