Have you ever been to the movies and somebody is talking in middle of the movie? Or seen somebody constantly on their phone? Hoping that you could have the theatre all to yourself? Well now you can!

Due to the decline of movie theater attendance, AMC theaters have implemented a new way to watch movies.
Instead of buying seats in the theater, you can now rent the entire theater for a private showing. For prices varying from $99-$349, you and 19 other friends can have your own private viewing of a movie. On top of the theatre prices you can also purchase a $250 food pass that lets you bring in your own food. Or you can buy $4.50 popcorn vouchers and $4 soda vouchers.

AMC offers a wide variety of movies. You can watch movies that trigger the nostalgia in you such as Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Monsters, Inc.; or, if you wanted you could watch more recent movies such as Tenet, Jumanji, and Honest Thief. One Ruslan Miz said “This is such a dope idea, this is like VIP access for everybody. It’s just you and your peeps.”

To rent out the theater is pretty simple. All you have to do is fill out the inquiry form on the AMC website. Double check your show times. And wait upwards of 3 days for a response back. And BAM, you have your own private theater. So grab a couple friends or relatives, pitch in a couple of dollars each, and enjoy the ambiance of a movie theater once more.
